Season Kickoff Meeting! 9/25 Trek off Lamar @5:30pm
The meal volunteer for the weekend is a pivotal, beloved role. You'll be responsible for Saturday's dinner and Sunday's (race day!) breakfast.
You will purchase (you'll be reimbursed) and cook both meals. You will have all the help you need. You will designate helpers to assist with prep and cleanup. You can call out an entire POD, Middle School, High School, etc. Find a group and put them to work!
AHS provides:
Cooking utensils
Plates, cutlery, napkins, etc.
A headcount of attendees a few days before
Budget
Athletes with dietary restrictions will bring their own food.
This is a great meal, works well on our flattop grill, and cascades neatly into breakfast tacos
A favorite meal and always a hit.
This meal is usually cooked at home and brought to the race to be warmed up
This is a meal cooked at home and warmed up on the flattop grill
These work well on the flattop grill and are pretty quick once you get going.
This meal is always a hit and can dovetail nicely with fajitas, just sayin' ;)
Easy meal and gives the kids exactly what they need to race later that day
Good meal, portable and always a hit. You can get a variety of bagels to keep everyone happy
AHS will cook athlete food as long as it's not a allergy situation.
I.E. - AHS will cook a vegan burger but will not cook for someone with a peanut allergy.
